What is a Home Hub?

A smart home hub is a device that links the various devices used in a home network. This can include home features (see the section on the Smart Home above) as well as TVs, personal computers, phones, smart watches, etc.

Networking usually occurs via the Cloud, but can also be stored and managed locally. This can use Wi-Fi, but more often utilises Zigbee, Z-Wave protocols, or Bluetooth.
