What is a smart toy?
What separates a smart toy from the usual electronic toys is that a smart toy can learn, behave according a pattern, or change what it does in response to something in its environment. This often means that it adjusts its behaviour according to the apparent age of the person playing with it. This can mean making a game more difficult, or less, or it can mean changing the content of a game according to the actions of the player.
These toys include electronic components such as microprocessors and controllers, volatile and non-volatile memory, memory storage devices and different types of input and output devices.
